I’ve spent more than 30 years building businesses in education recruitment, finance and consultancy. After selling Now Education Group, my focus is now on creating technology that makes a real difference for Multi-Academy Trusts.

I’m proud to also serve on the board at Princethorpe College Trust, where I support decisions that help secure the best outcomes for future generations.

Rekroot IT was born from that same drive, using AI to bring innovation to the Education supply sector, while never losing sight of the human relationships that truly make it work.

With three children in Education, I’m driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference in the systems that shape their future. Joining Rekroot IT was an opportunity to be part of a team that’s using the latest technology to create a real impact.

With over 25 years in sales and management, I’ve thrived on building strong relationships, delivering lasting value, and providing the highest level of customer service. Passion and commitment have always been at the heart of my work, and I bring that same energy into helping Trusts achieve better outcomes through data, technology, and collaboration.

Alex wrote his first program at age five, igniting a lifelong passion for technology that propelled him through the competitive landscape of the IT industry. 

He has since made significant contributions, including advising and consulting for the United Nations, leading IT initiatives as Head of IT for Spain’s largest hospitality group, and playing a pivotal role in the development of award-winning apps like Starmus. 

Currently, Alex is dedicated to simplifying the complexities of the Education supply chain, driving innovation to streamline and enhance its systems.
